Scratch right tackle off the list of team needs.
The Eagles continued to fill holes on this team at a rapid rate this evening, as they have now agreed to terms with offensive tackle Ryan Harris.
Harris has started 34 games for the Denver Broncos over his 3 year career, all of them coming in a row after not starting any his rookie season.
Originally a 3rd round pick for the Broncos, Harris should come in and compete immediately for the starting right tackle position, if not have it already. With Winston Justice on the PUP, King Dunlap has been the one running with the first team offense. Justice is said to be ready for the beginning of the regular season, but it’s unlikely that he will come in and start right away after missing the preseason.
The signing of Harris only backs up the theory that Justice may be more injured then the Eagles are letting on.
Right tackle is an especially important position for the Eagles, as it is Michael Vick’s blind side.
The Eagles can sign as many players as they want, but if Vick goes down, The Dream Team will likely become The Lottery Team.
